Playa La Ropa. The tourist beach in Zihuatanejo - late May after the first rain of the season. Photo taken circa 1985. Rumors have it that this beach has been overun
with hi-rise torista hotels...
Playa la Ropa - Zia!
The finest cabañas on the
beach. I have many memorable memories and excellent times while staying here.
A great inexpensive hideaway
for folks who wish to
keep a low profile.
My sources tell me that Lauren
Hutton has stayed here!

Dida relaxing in the hammock
on the porch of our cabaña!

Cabaños on the Beach!
Deep Sea fishing is a nice diversion while restoring one's constitution. Hooking a 'cudda are a couple of friends from Aspen, who joined us on a nice excursion with Eduado P. and wife Bea.

I traded for this trip with one of the watercolors I painted for a great lady while in Zia. Jean sponsors local kids and provides a means for their well being and education. She resides the majority of the year in Malibu. Introduced to me by my testpilot friend,
Grover Ted Tate who wrote the
basic screen play for the movie, "Pancho Barnes".

Fish du jour: Rooster fish - trip guided by Pio - the best!!
