Jewelry is something that mankind has used for his entire existence. Simple as a bone amulet, or complex as a tiara, we seem to take great pleasure in adorning ourselves with it. Most likely the gold in your wedding band or earring has a trace of this venerable metal crafted by the ancient Egyptians or Mayans. Precious stones have a similar legacy. These crystals represent something eternal, indestructible.
